Argentinean by birth, Necko (1977), spent part of his childhood with his family in Madrid. In the early 1990s he came into contact with the HIP HOP movement and the graffiti that was beginning to be created in the suburbs of the capital between trains, the underground and the city walls. A young Necko grows up and builds his own artistic language based on the Graffiti movement. During those years he lived with mythical artists of the time, painted with renowned urban artists, won graffiti competitions, participated in exhibitions of the time and became known.
In 2003 he moved to Ibiza, where he still lives. Among the different projects he has participated in since then, he received one that will mark a turning point in the professionalization of his artistic career. The proposal comes from Cirque du Soleil, which is looking for an ally in Necko to work with the Adriá brothers in their famous Heart Ibiza.
At that time, Necko began to actively participate in projects of his own magnitude and on commission, combining multimedia art in all its aspects, directing creative projects for such important brands as Hard Rock, Volvo, Cirque du Solail, Hermanos Adrià, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Pacha Group, Moët & Chandon, Warner, Veuve Clicquot, Carpe Diem, Kimitec Group, Heart Ibiza, Aston Martin and great DJs on the international scene.
Consolidated as an artist, he created his own multimedia studio on the island of Ibiza. At the same time, Necko travels as a guest at festivals and urban art competitions in the United States, Spain, Poland, Hungary, Germany, England, etc. He also carries out monographic and collective national and international exhibitions in renowned galleries.
With his work he begins to explore and generate new dialogues, formats and creative processes increasingly related to multimedia and technological art, being selected as a finalist in art competitions such as CYFEST Russia, ICIA Poland or Ar Takes Manhattan USA.
Without neglecting his passion for the multiple applications of painting, murals and large format works, today he combines cutting-edge digital technology and plastic arts, (painting, sculpture, graphic design, interactivity, projection mapping, augmented reality, virtual reality, video, 3D design, motion graphics, etc.), in his productions and as a creative and art director in commissioned projects.
